ANGLETON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

Three AHS seniors received $1000 scholarships from the Alumni Association on May 23.
Avery Nicole Moyle, daughter of Travis Moyle ’81, will major in biomedical engineering at Texas A&M.   Fifth in her class, she is also drum major in the band and a class officer.
Lindsey Clarkson, granddaughter of Leslie Perry ’63 and daughter of Stacey Perry ’84 will major in microbiology and immunology at The University of Texas at San Antonio and plans to be a pediatric neuro-oncologist.  She was active in athletics, the National Honor Society, and HOSA, Health Occupations Students of America and is an honor graduate.
Dustin Cole McEntire, son of Sandy Thane McEntire ’90, will major in petroleum/chemical engineering at Texas A&M.   He played football all four years, worked at McDonald’s while keeping up his grades, and was an Aerospace Scholar at NASA.
Alumni scholarships are funded by memberships, fundraisers and donations.
